Updates from the Chalkbird
Updated: May 4
We're thrilled to share some exciting updates about Chalkbird's recent activities and future plans!
Car Show Circuit: We've hit the gas on raising awareness, attending over 10 car shows! Attending these car shows not only generated excitement, but also led to a heartwarming $1,000 so far in cash donations to support our mission.
Sparking Curiosity at Schools: The Chalkbird car brought smiles to the faces of children at a local elementary school. Their creativity and enthusiasm were truly inspiring!
Looking Ahead: Exciting Plans on the Horizon!
Our journey doesn't stop here. On top of continuing the car show circuit, we're gearing up for an action-packed future:
Rare Across America: Our leadership team is gearing up for Rare Across America, a powerful advocacy event. There, they'll have the opportunity to speak directly with our congress members about legislation impacting rare diseases. This is a crucial step in ensuring that the voices of those facing rare diseases are heard!
Continuing the Fight: Our leadership remains dedicated to being a part of impactful programs like the John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health's Aorta Advocate program and The VEDS Movement Steering Committee
Town Festival Fun: We'll be continuing to spread awareness at upcoming town festivals, connecting with even more people and sharing the stories of those impacted by rare diseases.
We are incredibly grateful for your continued support. Your donations and volunteer efforts allow us to continue raising awareness, advocating for change, and supporting families facing rare diseases.
One Last thing! We launched our 2024 T-Shirt fundraiser.
Click the Merch Store button to view and purchase an Exclusive Limited Time Only T-Shirt. Orders must be in by July 20th. Last T-Shirt fundraiser was a success, and we are excited to see what this one can do!
